new export business growth in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia's non-oil private sector firms continued to report increased level of economic activity in March, though the pace of expansion eased from the previous month. A report from Markit Economics showed Monday that the headline SABB/HSBC Purchasing Managers' Index scored 62.8 during the month, down from February's 63.4. A PMI reading above 50 indicates expansion of the sector. Overall incoming new work rose sharply and at an accelerated pace from the previous month. Although foreign demand remained solid, new export business growth slowed since February.
