Opportunities for a higher education in Saudi Arabia

As a teenage mom, Eboni Cooper believed her “opportunities for a higher education were slim.” She thought all she needed was a good-paying job to support her children. After 15 years of slowly moving up the corporate ladder, “Almost overnight, [her] life began spinning out of control. [She] lost [her] job and found [herself] homeless and living off the kindness of others. Finding another job without an education proved difficult. Instead of succumbing to helplessness, Eboni enrolled in community college. Despite the extra challenge of a 12-year old and a toddler, Eboni excelled. She transferred to UC Davis this Fall with a major in Community and Regional Development.
